Our Beliefs
We, here at Montpelier, believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the Son of God - who died on the cross and who, three days later, came back to life.
We are Christians who believe that the world is in trouble. All people have a problem and it is the problem of sin. Sin is simply not living God's way. God made a perfect world, that worked.
Humanity consistantly decides to do things its own way. We don't live in God's way and we have all have sinned.
God so loved the world that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ. He took on flesh and died in our place to deal with this problem of sin.
We believe that when a person commits their life to Jesus, their sin is dealt with, forgiven. They can then know God as they were created to and should do.
Jesus rose again from the grave and we believe that so will we. If you trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, even though you die you will be in heaven for eternity.
